On the RDS show "L'Antichambre", analyst Norman Flynn mentioned that he was very worried about Jonathan Drouin's health. With his numerous injuries, is this the end of his career?
"I'm worried about him. I'm not worried about the Habs, they're going to do ok without Jonathan Drouin, I'm worried about him. Me I think his career is compromised, it's not going well for Jonathan Drouin. That's not how you want it to end. I hope he's going to play somewhere else and that he's going to get back on his feet. Because the way he's playing, what he's showing, it's not going to end well."
"That's why I wish we could find a place for him and get his career going again. Because it may end up in Montreal with this contract. If he is bought out and there are no other options, it may end up like this. I don't wish it on him, but it doesn't look good." - Norman Flynn
Drouin is only 26 years old. He's still young. We obviously hope he clears his health issues quickly.
This season in 34 games, he has 20 points with the Tricolore.
