Jon Cooper is one of the best head coaches in the league. The loss suffered to the Avalanche these playoffs got to him real bad.
During an interview with a reporter, Cooper was very emotional and made a promise to the NHL:
«We're not done,» Cooper said in his post-game media availability. «Like, the last eight years, we went to six conference finals. ... Today is a crushing loss, and we play this whole season to get to this goal, and we finished two days short of winning and being a part of this history.»
«You remember the teams you win with," he continued. «You don't remember as much the ones you don't win with. But I will always remember this team."
He really loved this group of guys, you can feel it!
