In a few hours, Pittsburgh Penguins defenceman Jeff Petry will face his former team in front of his former fans at the Bell Centre.
The right-handed defenseman met with the media in the last few hours and subtly threw an arrow at the Habs organization.
It's been a relief. Last year was tough. I'm happy to have this fresh start with a very talented team. It's a breath of fresh air."
Conversely, Ryan Poehling, who will also face his former team, is much less resentful.
They tried to find me a role. That was the biggest issue for me. I'm thankful for what they did for me, but also thankful that they're allowing me to have this new opportunity with another team."
Watch out tonight!
