Jakob Chychrun traded this summer? He finally answers the question
During the Arizona Coyotes' review, young defenceman Jakob Chychrun, who has been at the centre of several trade rumours this season, was quick to set the record straight.
"You have a limited number of chances (to make the playoffs and contend for the Stanley Cup) and you can't let the years go by and say it's just another season, move on and get ready for the summer." - Jakob Chychrun
His goal is clear, he wants to win.
"I love being in Arizona, but every time you start to feel like you're getting competitive, the team gets dismantled. This year was a tough situation for me." - Jakob Chychrun
Would he accept a trade? Here is his answer:
"I don't know. I have a contract for three more seasons. The trajectory the team takes is important to me. I want to be in a position where I'm playing in a week, not packing my bags." - Jakob Chychrun
