Jack Hughes Breaks an All-Time Recorded NHL Record
Jack Hughes broke an all-time NHL recorded record last night. His 6:02 shift last night, in the dying minutes of the game, is something unheard of in the modern era.
While many fans were quick to point out that Alexei Kovalev is the true record holder, the stat wasn't recorded when he set his mark.
At over 6 minutes, it is difficult to think that any player will come close for a long time. Jack Hughes could very well retire holding this record.
With the incredible level he has been playing at lately, it's very well possible that this won't be his only NHL record.
We equally don't blame coach Lindy Ruff for leaving him out there so long, we probably would have too!
