Our colleagues at bladeofsteel found a pretty interesting study today.

Let's see which NHL fan base consumes the most alcohol.

The top-5 on this study, which is based on a survey of almost 1,600 fans in the US and Canada.

1. Toronto 3.9
2. Chicago 3.8
3. Tampa Bay 3.7
4. Colorado 3.7
5. Arizona 3.6

The Oilers were sixth at 3.5

The Toronto Maple Leafs' fans were the drunkest in the NHL, consuming an average of 3.9 beers per game. This isn't surprising, whether you root for the Leafs and drink to forget their losses, or you despise the Leafs and believe their fans are all dumb haha.
