According to information from David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period, Montreal Canadiens forward Mike Hoffman is reportedly on his way out of Montreal.
With the arrival of Evgenii Dadonov with the Habs, it's obvious that Kent Hughes will have to part with a hefty contract.
Some teams would have knocked on the door of Kent Hughes, namely Arizona, New Jersey, Ottawa, Vancouver, Washington, Long Island and Nashville.
Hoffman, who earns $4.5 million a year, has two seasons left on his contract.
In 67 games last season, the 32-year-old veteran had 35 points.
