While Jeff Petry let his goalie get destroyed by Kassian. Pezzetta and Ducharme weren't pleased with the rest of the teams response.
Here's the hit:
Later in the game, Michael Pezzetta challenged Kassian, but it was in vain. Coach Dominique Ducharme was dissatisfied with his team's performance.
"I want to see five red sweaters go to the corner...I would never ask anyone to fight, but I want to see five red sweaters in the corner," said Ducharme.
When a goalie is hit, any coach would ask for that. Montembeault was fine, but not really. Montreal is having a bad season, but that's no excuse to abandon your netminder.
Ducharme wants to see more character from his team!
