The Edmonton Oilers announced some great news today.
Interim head coach Jay Woodcroft will be able to remove his interim tag from his title, as he has reached an agreement with the team for the next three years.
This is great news! Woodcroft became the Oilers coach during the season when they were in no position to make the playoffs.
The team made it to the Stanley Cup Final, so he deserves his new contract.
