Bothered by a knee injury, Montmagny forward Samuel Blais missed most of last season.
Back in top form, Blais has already received a vote of confidence from his head coach Gerard Gallant.
To start training camp, here are the team's first three trios:
Kreider-Zibanejad-Blais
Panarin-Trocheck-Kravtsov
Lafrenière-Chytil-Kakko
Blais will have the chance to showcase his skills on the first line with Mika Zibanejad and Chris Kreider. It will be up to him to prove that he belongs in this position.
