The hockey business can be wild and unfortunately we have proof of that again today.
The Philadelphia Flyers have announced that they will buy out forward Oscar Lindblom.
The 25 year old forward is in remission from bone cancer, specifically Ewing's sarcoma.
He was earning $3M annually until 2023.
Last season, in 79 games, the Swede collected 26 points.
The Flyers Charities Foundation will donate $100,000 in Oskar Lindblom's name to a local foundation that supports families affected by cancer.
