Female Fan needs CPR at American League game
On Friday night, the Toronto Maple Leafs' school team, the Toronto Marlies, played the Winnipeg Jets' school team, the Manitoba Moose. They had to suspend the game after the first period because a fan needed CPR.
The Marlies made a public announcement to inform the public of the situation and the postponement of the game.
« During Friday night's game against the Manitoba Moose, a female fan was assisted by emergency medical services during the first intermission. After consultation between the two teams and the American League, the decision to suspend the game was made. The Marlies are grateful to the medical staff and fans who came to the aid of the affected individual and our thoughts are with her and her loved ones. »
