Doctor evaluates Nikita Kucherov's injury after the hit by Toews
In case you missed it.
Kucherov left the game last night late in the third period.
Dr. Harjas Grewal, a former WHL player turned sports injury specialist, worries that Kucherov might have the bad high ankle sprain.
Worry about a medial/high ankle sprain for Kucherov
Luckily though his ankle was not stressed as much as most are so I expect a grade 1 injury at worst and I don't think he'll miss any SCF games
Mechanism also stresses knee MCL, but again not as severe as most so should be ok
