Since the start of free agency, GM Lou Lamoriello revealed he was interested in signing Kadri as part of his search for a key acquisition to boost his team's scoring.
Everyone thought Kadri would be among the first players to be signed but that wasn't the case.
Insider Matt Larkin questioned whether Kadri already had a contract in place with a team but waiting for them to clear up some cap.
Anyone else think Nazem Kadri agreed on a handshake contract at least a week ago and is just waiting on Team X to clear cap space?
I can't imagine a UFA of this magnitude is actually still undecided, two weeks into free agency.
