The New Jersey Devils have the second overall pick in the upcoming draft and Tom Fitzgerald, the team's GM, has never hidden that he would be open to trading this selection.

The Hockey Writers website suggests a trade between Boston and New Jersey. David Pastrnak to New Jersey, in return for the 2nd overall pick in 2022.
What do you think?
In Boston, if Patrice Bergeron announces his retirement, Charlie Coyle becomes the best center and they don't have the appropriate depth in their system.
If Don Sweeney can acquire the second pick in the Devils' draft in a trade involving Pastrnak, he could select a top prospect like Logan Cooley, Jonathan Lekkerimaki, Brad Lambert, or Matthew Savoie.
