With Alexandar Georgiev and Pavel Francouz on board, the Colorado Avalanche felt the need to acquire a goaltender, as the team claimed goaltender Jonas Johansson in the draft from the Arizona Coyotes.
The 27-year-old, 6-foot-5 Swede spent the past year in Colorado and Florida. He was drafted this year by the Coyotes and unfortunately for him, his stint was short-lived.
Johansson played 32 career NHL games and maintained a goals-against-average of 3.42 and a save percentage of 0.883%.
