Claude Giroux, the Philadelphia Flyers' captain, is 34 years old and the Flyers are unlikely to contend for the Stanley Cup anytime soon. The team may decide to do the right thing by their captain, who is rapidly ascending the ranks of franchise greats, by giving him a shot at the elusive championship that the City of Brotherly Love hasn't won since 1975.

He's been the subject of numerous trade rumors, and many experts and fans believe he'll end up with the Colorado Avalanche's high-powered offense, which would almost certainly put them over the top in their quest for their first Stanley Cup since 2001.

However, if this report from Sportsnet's "The Jeff Marek Show" is any indication, Giroux has his sights set on the sunny beaches of Florida.
