Claude Giroux has put his former DG in trouble
According to what Frank Seravalli of DailyFaceOff reports, new Florida Panthers forward Claude Giroux has his former Flyers GM Chuck Fletcher in a tizzy.
Why? Because Giroux gave Fletcher only one option and that was to join the Panthers. He didn't want to play anywhere else and the Panthers knew that.
Ouch!
So, that makes it a lot less for him, given that he was backed into a corner.

In Florida: Claude Giroux (50% of his salary), Connor Bunnaman, German Rubtsov and a fifth-round pick in 2024
In Philadelphia: Owen Tippett, a first-round pick in 2024 (top-10 protected) and a third-round pick in 2023.
