Caufield: We Can't Wait to Start!

Suzuki about his chemistry with Caufield:

"I think we had a good game. We've created a lot of things. Chemistry will continue to develop. He sees the game on the ice very well. He's always ready to shoot. I like playing with players like him. »

Caufield on his regular season experience:

"I would say I'm getting more and more comfortable. I learn as much as I can on the ice and during video sessions. I'm focused and all the guys are ready for this new challenge. We can't wait to get started. »

On playing with Suzuki, Caufield says:

"A lot of guys want to play with him," says one. With the puck, he's dynamic, makes good passes, and plays at a high pace. I believe we are well-suited to each other. That was something we saw tonight.

Ducharme on Caufield's performance and the possibility of using it in series:

"We'll see. We're going to look at our roster and see what we do for the first game. We've seen some nice things about him. We also have to look at the health of the other players. We're going to make the decision in due course. »
