In another instant classic team Canada defeats their biggest rival Team USA in women's hockey at the Olympics in Beijing.

The difference in this one was team Canada's goaltender Ann-Renée Desbiens setting a Canadian Olympic record making 51 saves for Team Canada in a game what will be talked about for years to come.

Canada opened the scoring but the team USA would battle back to take a 2-1 lead. That only would fire Canada up who scored 3 unanswered goals lead by Brianna Jenner, the sister of Columbus Blue Jackets Boone Jenner, who had 2 goals. Jamie Lee Rattray was the other scorer, the game-winning goal for Canada.

With a 3-2 game the GOAT, captain Canada Marie-Philip Poulin was hooked on a breakaway causing a penalty shot. Marie-Philip is pure money you know she ain't missing that. Poulin scored and make it 4-2 Canada and that's all she wrote.

Canada will finish at the top of the standings in group A heading into the medal round but we can't give enough credit to team Canada's Ann-Renée Desbiens who if not for her this game would as been a different story. This will go down as one of the greatest goaltending performance in Olympic history.
