Calgary Flames Assistant General Manager Taken Off Ventilator
Calgary Flames Assistant General Manager Chris Snow is in his third year of his fight against ALS.
While he has already completed an incredible feat, as the average lifespan for somebody with the illness is 2-5 years, things appeared to take a turn for the worst a few nights ago.
Luckily, Chris' wife Kelsie had some amazing news yesterday. Chris was taken off the ventilator and began breathing on his own once again.
Chris' battle won't be an easy one, but in the wise words of his wife:
Someone has to be the first person to live with ALS rather than die from it
We wish the best to family and friends of Chris.
