As we know, Cale Makar is in a league of his own. He is without a doubt the best offensive defenseman in the entire NHL at only 24 years old.
When you think about the fact that the young man just passed Bobby Orr, Raymond Bourque, Paul Coffey and all the best defensemen that have walked on the NHL ice over the years.
In fact, Makar became the fastest 200-point NHL defenseman in history in just 195 games. He is ahead of Sergei Zubov (207 games), Brian Leetch (211 games) and Phil Housley (212 games), to name a few.

An accomplishment worthy of the greatest and fully deserved for the latest Conn Smythe Trophy recipient. Makar still has a ways to go to break Raymond Bourque's all-time career scoring record of 1,579 points, but at this rate, if he stays healthy, he might just get there.
Do you think Cale Makar will be able to keep up with more than one point per game in the long run?
