Today we learned that veteran coach Bruce Boudreau has been fired as head coach of the Vancouver Canucks, after weeks of speculation.

Montreal Canadiens reporter Stu Cowan has suggested the Montreal Canadiens hire the Toronto native to help and advise Martin St-Louis.

Boudreau, 68, has been a head coach with the Washington Capitals, Anaheim Ducks, Minnesota Wild and Vancouver Canucks. He has never won a Stanley Cup.
