Maple Leafs legend Borje Salming's battle with ALS has been difficult to watch.
The 71-year-old has been publicly battling the disease for over a year.
His wife recently reported that the ALS has now rendered him unable to speak, and he must use an iPad in order to communicate.
It is difficult to watch such a well-respected figure deteriorate so quickly, and we wish the best to Salming's family in these difficult times.
