The Arizona Coyotes have announced that they have ended their relationship with assistant coach Phil Housley.

"On behalf of the entire organization, I would like to thank Phil for all he has done for the Coyotes on and off the ice over the past three seasons," general manager Bill Armstrong said in a statement. Phil is well respected, a true professional and a good coach. We wish him and his family the best in the future."

Housley had coached the Buffalo Sabres for two seasons from 2017 to 2019. As a hockey player, he had 338 goals and 1232 points in 1495 games with eight teams.
