The Washington Capitals announced some bad news today.
Forward Carl Hagelin underwent arthroscopic surgery to treat his chronic left hip on Monday morning.
He will be out indefinitely.
Unfortunately, at 34 years old, it feels like the end for the Swede.
Last season in 53 games, he collected 14 points. In total, in his NHL career, Hagelin played 713 games and scored 296 points.
