BREAKING: the Sabres and the Stars make a trade

The Buffalo Sabres have acquired defenceman Joseph Cecconi from the Stars.
In return, Dallas acquired the services of defenseman Oskari Laaksonen.
Cecconi, 25, was a fifth-round pick by the Stars in 2015. In addition, he won the gold medal at the World Junior Championship in 2017, along with two current Buffalo players in Tage Thompson and Casey Fitzgerald.
As for Laaksonen, 23, he is a 2017 third-round pick by the Sabres and has two assists in 10 games this season in the AHL.
