The Detroit Red Wings have acquired Jasper Weatherby from the San Jose Sharks.
In return, Mike Grier gets Kyle Criscuolo.
Weatherby, 24, played 50 games with the Sharks last season and had 11 points.
In 39 games this season in the AHL, he scored a paltry six points.
As for Criscuolo, the 30-year-old veteran has 10 points in 28 AHL games this year.
