According to Darren Dreger, things are currently going wild in Canadiens offices.

Is a trade about to happen?
Shea Weber's contract? Jeff Petry? Josh Anderson?
NHL sources say something is going down in Montreal. Trade. The Canadiens have been open to moved Petry and have said they would re-examine moving Shea Weber's contract. I believe, it's the latter. Trade call?

In fact it did... The Montreal Canadiens have traded Shea Weber for Evgenii Dadonov.
