The Washington Capitals have agreed to terms on a three-season contract extension with forward Sonny Milano.
He will earn $1.9 million per year.
Milano has not had an easy start to the season. After being released from his professional trial with the Calgary Flames, the Capitals finally gave him a chance and it paid off.
In 40 games this season, he scored 22 points.
