The Flames traded all-star Matthew Tkachuk and a conditional 2025 fourth-round draft pick to the Florida Panthers for Jonathan Huberdeau, MacKenzie Weegar, Cole Schwindt, and a conditional 2025 first-round draft pick.
Florida signed Matthew Tkachuk right away to an eight-year, $76-million contract, according to Andy Strickland of Bally Sports Midwest.
