BREAKING: Former NHL Consultant Sues the NHLPA for $100M
We just got report that former NHL consultant Richard Rodier is suing the NHL's player association for a whopping $100-million.
Rodier is suing on terms of the inappropriate usage of confidential information as leverage when he was part of a group trying to buy a team.
This included another factor, which was the underreporting of income in order to lessen player salaries:

Former NHLPA consultant Richard Rodier has filed a $100M lawsuit against his former employer, alleging it misused his confidential info to pursue claims that NHL teams underreported revenue, which allowed them to pay players less money
The NHL is already aware of the situation, per TSN:
«We are aware of the lawsuit filed by Mr. Rodier,» an NHLPA spokesman wrote in an email to TSN. «It is wholly without merit, and we will fully defend the matter.»
We will see if anything comes from this lawsuit, and if any of the corruption in the NHL is exposed.
