The #Canes have placed goaltender Antti Raanta on waivers.
In 14 games this season he has produced a record of 6-5-1 with a 3.61 goals against average (GAA) and an .854 save percentage (SV%).
Raanta has been with the Hurricanes for the past couple of seasons but has struggled this year as the starter with Frederick Andersen being out with injury. Last year he went 19-3-3 with a 2.23 GAA and a .910 sv%.
We will now wait till 2pm EST tomorrow to see if he gets claimed.
