A great Colorado Avalanche fan, Ryan Clark, made sure his best friend got the tribute he deserved.
His best friend, Kyle Stark, passed away unexpectedly in December 2021, and both were a big part of the Avalanche's home games.
After the funeral, Stark's parents invited Clark to an Avalanche game at Ball Arena, and he brought some of his friend's ashes with him.
« We had it in a little bag. We got Kyle over the glass and into the ice. A security guard came up to me and said, "Hey, man, what was that?" and I said, "Well, to be honest with you, that was my best friend Kyle. He's dead,'" Clark said.
A few days later, he received a letter stating that he was banned from Avalanche events at Ball Arena for life.
This story makes no sense. Hopefully the Avalanche will allow him to return, next season.
