With the injury to Robin Lehner, many fans believed that Brossoit and Thompson would start the season in net.
Finally, a twist of fate, as Kelly McCrimmon acquired goaltender Adin Hill from the San Jose Sharks last week.

According to the renowned Vince Sapienza, the Golden Knights are not sure if Laurent Brossoit will be back in a few weeks or near January.
All indications are that Hill and Thompson will start the year in Vegas.
