Last week, Marc-Andre Fleury was one of the goalie that added the Oilers to his no-trade list. It has been reported that another goalie is believed to have no interest in joining Connor Mcdavid and the Edmonton Oilers.
According to Sportsnet's Mark Spector,
«John Gibson almost certainly has Edmonton on his no-trade list.»
«[] American players in coastal locations almost never opt for an Edmonton or Winnipeg. If Gibson is willing, however, we'd bet Holland is all over that trade and willing to trade a top prospect, Puljujarvi and this year's first in the deal.» If Fleury and Gibson refuse to play for Edmonton. Ken Holland has an option with Jack Campbell of the Toronto Maple Leafs. If seems like that can be his only option.
The Edmonton Oilers went to the Conference Finals with Mike Smith who had a HORRIBLE playoffs. Imagine if that roster had a decent goalie that can make the timely saves, wouldn't they become Stanley Cup Champions?
