The Toronto Maple Leafs are playing the Flyers tonight in a game that means a lot to both teams. Unfortunately for the Leafs, one of their forwards exited early.

Jarnkrok Leaves Game After Awkward collision with boards

Maple Leafs forward Calle Jarnkrok was battling for a loose puck at the offensive blueline when he got pinched off by a Flyers defenseman. He then awkwardly stumbled into the boards, hitting them violently, shoulder-first.

The forward immediately went down the tunnel towards the team's locker room after the play.

At this point, the Leafs veteran has not returned to the game. Given the injury to Mitch Marner, the Leafs are now in serious trouble with a lack of depth in their forward group. Hopefully Jarnkrok is able to return to the lineup soon, if not tonight.
