The Leafs will be without a key Forward this weekend.

Leafs Head Coach Sheldon Keefe announced that Forward Noel Acciari will be out due to a neck injury, and will likely miss the team's next two games this weekend against the Ottawa Senators and the Detroit Red Wings.

Acciari Is Injured

Acciari has been dealing with an unknown injury that caused him to miss the team's last game against Florida, and Keefe has since confirmed a neck injury is the reason for Acciari's absence.

Acciari was acquired in the trade with St. Louis that brought Ryan O'Reilly to the Leafs, and has 3 goals in 17 games with Toronto, having been relied upon for bringing a defensive minded game to the group's bottom six.

It's not clear if Acciari will be back for Tuesday's game against Columbus, but for the time being, Toronto will be in waiting for more information as the team enters the postseason.
