At the end of the GM Meetings today, Gary Bettman spoke.
He revealed that the NHL Draft Lottery will take place May 8th.
Essentially, a franchise will change that day, as one team will be given the ticket to draft Connor Bedard.
For those who lose, players like Adam Fantilli, Matvei Michkov, Leo Carlsson, and Zach Benson are all worthy of going first overall in other years.
It is a very exciting time to be a fan of a bottom team.
