In the 55th game of the season, Montreal Canadiens confirmed their spot in the playoffs.
Many believe it's not about how you get there, but what you do once you're in that truly matters. Once a team qualifies, every one of them has a shot at the Stanley Cup.
Regarding these chances, the BarDown site revealed on Tuesday the odds for the 16 teams that have qualified for the playoffs. Contrary to what some might think, the CH is not the team with the least chance among the 16 to win the cup; it's not even the lowest-ranked in its division.

The BarDown team, which is part of TSN, ranked the CH in 13th place out of 16. Below them are the Winnipeg Jets, the St. Louis Blues, and the Nashville Predators.
On the other hand, the statistics site Moneypuck ranks the CH in 14th place, giving them a 1.3% chance of winning the Cup. Following the CH are the Winnipeg Jets with a 0.4% chance and the St. Louis Blues with a 0.2% chance. Interestingly, Moneypuck gives the Predators a 1.7% chance, placing them higher in these rankings.
These percentages are just numbers. As we know, everything is decided on the ice, and in modern hockey, anything can happen. If the CH wants to defy these odds, they must prove they are indeed built for the playoffsa challenge that remains to be seen.
