Seasons were at stake yesterday night when the Winnipeg Jets faced the Minnesota Wild. Things thus expectedly got heated.

Wild Head Coach Threatens Fight

The playoffs were at stake for the Winnipeg Jets last night. A win would lock them in to the last available spot in the western conference, whereas a loss would put them neck and neck with the Nashville Predators.

The Jets brought everything they had, and managed a meaningful 3-1 win, backdropped by a stellar .971 save percentage from Connor Helleybuck.

The win didn't come without controversy however, as a fight behind the bench between Wild head coach Dean Evason and Jets head coach Rick Bowness stole some of the spotlight.

When Evason threw Ryan Reaves on the ice with less than a minute left with the only goal of getting in a fight, it pissed Bowness off royally.

Bowness was upset Evason put Reaves on the ice with less than a minute to go to fight. Bowness yelled over to Evason "That's f*king bullshit!", and Evason responded with the gesture of inviting Bowness to fight him.

It'll assuredly be a blast if these two teams match up in the playoffs!
