Friedman Confirms the Next Step for Pierre-Luc Dubois
Elliotte Friedman has recently discussed on 32 Thoughts that the Jets are most likely going to trade for Pierre-Duc Dubois to the Canadiens. The 24-year old center might be joining the Habs soon, as it appears that both teams are interested in the trade.
Dubois Likely to Leave the Jets
"Jets have talked to the Canadiens on and off about Dubois, we know that Dubois is gonna end up there 95%, is there someway we can make a deal so the Canadiens get him earlier and we get something we want? They've talked about that"
Dubois has not had the best season with the Jets, only scoring 25 goals in the 66 games he has played. Perhaps he will find more success with the Habs. Fans are wondering who the Jets will trade in order to receive Dubois.
Fans have been speculating for a while that Dubois might join the Habs. The rumours first started appearing last summer, before Dubois signed a $6 million, one year offer with the Jets. It appears that these rumours might finally be settled.
