McGroarty Stretched Off Verus Penn State

Last night 2022 14th overall pick Rutger McGroarty took a hit from behind that sent him flying into the boards. He was able to brace himself and had his back take the brunt of the force.

Here is the only foot

#NHLJets prospect Rutger McGroarty was stretchered off the ice following this check from Reese Laubach.

McGroarty does not look alright.

Rutger McGroarty now injured and dazed. Didn't see the play, but he appeared to crash into the boards behind the action. Brian Brewster and Jacob Truscott help him to a stretcher at the Zamboni door

There are many injuries that this could be but there is a lot of speculation on this being a tailbone injury.

McGroarty has been quite impressive this year with the University of Michigan in the NCAA leading them in points with 18 in 13 games. Hopefully, he can recover in a timely manner and go back to dominating the NCAA.

As seen on Hockey Feed - NHL prospect carried off on stretcher on Friday night.
