Tom Wilson has a threatening message for one of the Penguins' superstar players.
Washington And Pittsburgh's Recent Struggles
Up until recently, the Washington Capitals and Pittsburgh Penguins have dominated the Eastern Conference. However, after both teams missed the playoffs last year, they are now on the outside looking in.
In an effort to make the playoffs, the Penguins went out and acquired Erik Karlsson who is coming off a 102-point year. The Capitals on the other hand sit tight and are hoping that their players who missed time last year will come back healthy. One of those players is their enforcer Tom Wilson.
Wilson's Threats For Karlsson
In a recent interview, Tom Wilson had some choice words for the newest Penguin.
"He's super skilled and does things that are next level. But at the end of the day, he's a rival now and we'll try and make his life difficult back there as a Capital." - Tom Wilson on Erik Karlsson
Choosing to make Karlsson's life difficult is far more threatening than saying something like making his job difficult.
With Wilson going a little bit extra against the Penguins, we can be certain he will not be passing up any opportunities to lay a hit like this.
