Tomas Hertl set to make his long awaited Golden Knights debut

Showtime Vegas, newly acquired forward Tomas Hertl is set to make his long awaited debut in a Vegas uniform since being acquired in a blockbuster trade with the San Jose Sharks on March 8th. Hertl, has been out with an injury since then.

The Vegas Golden Knights are facing off versus the first place Vancouver Canucks in what is a divisional face-off. The Knights will have some extra reinforcement as star forward Tomas Hertl is set to make his Vegas debut. The Czech forward has yet to play in a game since January 27th versus the Buffalo Sabres. He was with the San Jose Sharks the last time he had played.

Vegas and Vancouver will be facing off in a late night matchup, which could also be a preview for the Stanley Cup Playoffs round one as the Knights sit in the second wildcard spot in the Western Conference.
"Tomas Hertl is expected to make his #VegasBorn debut tonight against Vancouver; coach Bruce Cassidy will confirm later today. The Knights have 6 games left in the regular-season." Pagnotta said.
Prior to his injury, Hertl has recorded 34 points in 48 games this season with the struggling, last place San Jose Sharks.
Exciting to see how this match will shakeup with yet another star forward on the reigning Stanley Cup Champions.
