Golden Knights Sign Edstrom
The Vegas Golden Knight just announced that they will be signing their top prospect, David Edstrom, to an entry-level contract.
The Golden Knights drafted Edstrom 32nd overall in the 2023 NHL draft, making him the final pick of the 1st round.
Last year, Edstrom scored 28 points in 28 J20 Nationell (Swedish CHL equivalent) games and 4 points in 11 SHL games (top Swedish league).
The 6'3" center provides an excellent two-way game and has been compared to NHLers like Boone Jenner. He has 2nd line upside but could develop into much more if he finds a new gear offensively.
