The Vegas Golden Knights have acquired an intriguing top-deadline name from the St. Louis Blues.
Per Darren Dreger, Ivan Barbashev will be headed to Vegas in exchange for a prospect.
Barbashev Heads to Vegas
Barbashev is a young scoring winger with a cap-hit of $2.25-million. This deal will be great for the Knights, who can still add another higher salary piece.
The prospect headed to St. Louis in the deal is 2021 30th overall pick Zach Dean.
