Maple Leafs forward William Nylander wasn't too bothered with Matthew Tkachuk's mind games in Game 4, having no issues with Florida trying to get into his head.

Although the game didn't turn out the way the team wanted it to, the Maple Leafs can't be too upset with how things ended in Game 4. Granted, it was a shallow performance that could have been way worse, but a 2-0 loss isn't terrible on paper.
The team was hounded all night, and it seems both the players and the crowd were in their heads.

William Nylander Not Concerned With Matthew Tkachuk's Antics

That is, everyone except William Nylander, who seemed to have no issues with Florida trying to play psychological warfare; specifically Matthew Tkachuk.
Speaking to the media post-game, the star forward was asked about Tkachuk trying to rattle him, and frankly he had no time for it:
He'll probably do whatever he can do to get a player off their game, but yeah, next game's going to be a fun one.
Tkachuk wasn't shy about giving the Leafs an earful as the game came to its conclusion.
While Nylander wasn't rattled, the team didn't do much to give fans or themselves hope in Game 4. Outshot 37-23, including a 15-4 shellacking in the first period; it was Florida's game all night.
Joseph Woll did his best and made some pretty great saves altogether, but the team couldn't put it together.
Auston Matthews had a glorious opportunity, but much like other times this postseason, hesitated and wasn't able to quickly put the puck bast Sergei Bobrovsky.
He wasn't the only one; after an injury scare early in the first, Matthew Knies came back with a vengeance and had perhaps the best chance of the night, unable to put the put past Bobrovsky on the breakaway.
The attention will now shift back to Toronto for Game 5, and with the Maple Leafs desperate to find a win, perhaps they will take a page out of Florida's book and play some mind games.
They certainly can't repeat their performance from Sunday night, and if they are going to lack discipline and get flustered, it's going to be Florida's series to take.
For William Nylander, it sounds like Tkachuk might be motivating him.
That's great news for the Maple Leafs, and bad news for Florida as they head into Game 5 and dead center in enemy territory.
