In breaking news this morning, William Nylander is set to make his return to the lineup tonight as indicated by Leafs practice today.
The Toronto Maple Leafs will benefit greatly from William Nylanders impending return to the lineup, as he has missed the first two games of the series with a mysterious injury. However, signs are pointing to his return to the lineup tonight as the Leafs are underway with their gameday skate.
BREAKING: William Nylander is expected to return to the lineup tonight for Game 3 ✅
It's expected he will be on the 3rd line with Holmberg and Jarnkrok.
While it is not confirmed yet that he will be in the lineup, this is about as promising as it gets for Leafs fans. It was expected that he would play on the third line, and he is taking rushes with that line today while Robertson placeholds for Auston Matthews. If Nylander was planning to be out, it would likely be the other way around.
More details to come as Sheldon Keefe is expected to speak after practice.
