William Nylander exits game after awkward play vs. the Senators

UPDATE : 9:20p.m. - William Nylander will not return tonight vs Ottawa with a lower-body injury, the Leafs announced.
UPDATE: 11:45 p.m. - Craig Berube, as expected, does not have a current update on Nylander's status, which will come tomorrow ahead of the Leafs game against Detroit.
William Nylander has left the Toronto Maple Leafs game against Ottawa late in the second period.
Toronto Maple Leafs forward William Nylander exited Toronto's game Saturday against the Ottawa Senators.
Nylander left in the second period against Ottawa, although he wasn't seen leaving the bench, Nylander was absent from the bench midway in the period, with it unclear as to why.
It's not known if Nylander was injured on the play or left for some other reason, but prior to his exit had tangled up with Senators defenseman Artem Zub behind the Ottawa net.
The Leafs have not provided an update on Nylander's status, and he has not returned to the bench. Nylander did not return for the start of the third period either.
An update, if Nylander does not return, may come from head coach Craig Berube after the game, although his absence happening late present a lack of a clear idea of the extent of Nylander's departure and if it's anything serious.
Nylander leads the Leafs in 40 points in 32 games this season for Toronto, with 13 goals and 27 assists.
